Synopsis

On Wednesday, the trailer ofmurder mystery-thriller-drama Kumudini Bhavan Bhavanwas released . It features Ushasi Ray, Ambarish Bhattacharya, Anashua Majumdar, Rishav Basu, and others, in pivotal roles. Directed by Arkadeep Mallika Nath, the trailer showcases mind-bending twists, heart-pounding drama, and humorous dialogues which will leave audiences intrigued when they stream this series.

The trailer opens with an introduction to a girls’ hostel named Kumudini Bhavan, where Durba is one of the residents, and has an ongoing affair with Rwik, an alleged ‘mentally challenged’ boy and the hostel owner’s grandson. However, misfortune strikes and after she’s seen threatening another resident and then dies of unknown circumstances. A Police Officer, bored with his job, takes over the investigation and his right hand becomes the new girl at the hostel, Anusree. On her request and desire to solve cases, he takes her under his wing, and they interrogate people who live and work at the mess. Many more mysteries unveil and theories around the murders are heard. Some consider it to be a crime of passion while others are clueless. The trailer ends with a comical interaction between Kumudini Bhavan Hochi and Anusree, establishing their connection while solving this case.
