The trailer of Chorki’s OTT series “Baaji” starring Tahsan Khan and Rafiath Rashid Mithila was released on Tuesday (11 June). The series directed by Arifur Rahman marks Tahsan’s OTT debut. The trailer sees Tahsan as a cricketer while Mithila portrays the role of a journalist. The story revolves around betting on cricket and its aftermath. Faces appearing alongside Tahsan in the series are Mim Mantasha, Manoj Pramanik, Nazia Haque Orsha, Shahadat Hossain, Partha Sheikh, Tasnuva Tisha, Abrar Athar, etc.
The series will be released on Eid-ul-Adha on the local streaming platform Chorki. The OTT platform has now confirmed that the series will feature singer-turned-actor Tahsan Khan in the lead role. While Tahsan has graced television screens numerous times, “Baaji” marks his OTT debut. Popular actress Rafiath Rashid Mithila will be seen alongside Tahsan. Although the cast and crew have not officially revealed details, sources close to the production confirmed to The Daily Star that Tahsan and Mithila have been preparing for their roles for several months, and the initial phase of shooting has recently wrapped. Tahsan and Mithila, both popular figures in the industry, married on August 3, 2007, and amicably separated in May 2017.
