Synopsis

Rorschach is a 2022 Indian Malayalam-language psychological horror film directed by Nisam Basheer, written by Sameer Abdul, and produced by Mammootty through Mammootty Kampany.[1] It stars Mammootty, Asif Ali, Sharafudheen, Jagadish,Grace Antony, Bindu Panicker, Kottayam Nazeer, Sanju Sivram and George Abraham. The film’s music was composed by Midhun Mukundan and cinematography was handled by Nimish Ravi.

Principal photography began on 30 March 2022 at Chalakudy.[2].

Upon release on 7 October 2022, it received highly positive reviews from the critics. The performances of the cast, direction, screenplay, background score, cinematography, editing, sound design, action sequences, and production design received high praise.

Luke Anthony comes to a village in search of his wife Sophia, Rorschach who got lost in a nearby forest while traveling through the countryside. But, as the search operation progresses, doubts crop up on whether the woman has actually gone missing or even whether she is a figment of his imagination.

Luke Antony’s wife and unborn twins were murdered in a break-in, and the murderer happens to be Dileep Balan. Whereas, Dileep is dead but Luke feels his presence and he is determined to extinguish it. For that purpose alone, Luke haunts Dileep’s deranged family and everyone near and dear to him. Dileep also haunts him from beyond his grave.
