Synopsis

Monster is a 2022 Indian Malayalam-language crime thriller film directed by Vysakh, written by Udaykrishna, and produced by Antony Perumbavoor through Aashirvad Cinemas. The film stars Mohanlal as Lucky Singh / Sivadev Subramaniyam along with Honey Rose, Lakshmi Manchu, Sudev Nair, Siddique, K. B. Ganesh Kumar, Lena, Johny Antony, Jagapathi Babu. The original music was composed by Deepak Dev.

Principal photography began in November 2021 and lasted 55 days, concluding in January 2022. The film was shot extensively in Cochin.

Monster was released in theatres worldwide on 21 October 2022 to mixed reviews from both the critics and audience.

Bhamini and Anil Chandra are a married couple who have a daughter named Kunjatta. Anil, who used to be a software engineer was fired from his company where the family’s financial support is handled by Bhamini, who works as a cab driver at a taxi firm. Things took an interesting turn when Bhamini had to pick up a passenger named Lucky Singh from airport. How Lucky Singh’s entry changes things for the family forms the crux of the plot.

On their first wedding anniversary, Lucky Singh, an entrepreneur from Punjab walks into the lives of Anil Chandra and Bhamini. Little do they know that this man will change their future.
